Is there a shortcut for getting rid of negative feelings and emotions? Luckily – YES.
Today I’ll share the most effective & quick tips which can help you to overcome overwhelming mental load:
- When feelings anxious, the best thing to do is… Sing! Did you know that your brain cannot think of anything, and especially worry, when you are singing? Even if you fake it, it’ll work, so find your favorite song playlist and bring up that volume.
- Burnt out. We talked a lot about burnout on our website, which you can read more about here. Yet, if you are now searching for a quick tip to help yourself in this state, a walk would be the best choice. Just take a walk, without a specific direction, and walk until you feel that the burden has left your shoulders.
- Overthinking. I’ve already shared useful advice on how to overcome overthinking, but the best and instant relief would be just breathing. I know it may sound like a cliché, but truly focus on breathing from your stomach and only think about if you’re doing it properly.
- Angry. We now know that a grieving process has its anger stage. If you’re tired of feeling angry, the best way to get rid of bitterness and rage is to exercise. Enjoy some physical activity.
- Feeling lazy. I bet everyone has those lazy days at least from time to time. What you can do to wake your energy up is to take a cold shower.
When feeling impatient, I would recommend reflecting on the progress you have already made.
