Things you do due to anxiety but don’t realize

There are obviously a lot of things we do due to anxiety, but there are some that are usually dismissed.

Take a look at these habits and ask yourself if they are coming from your anxiety:

  1. Noticing the things others don’t – and worrying about them. We already covered different topics related to overthinking, which you can read more about here.
  1. Being too nice to everyone, even when they don’t give back the same. I know you are kind hearted, but are you people pleasing?
  2. Even when you know you’re capable of something, you don’t believe you’ll succeed.
  3. Your mistakes seem unacceptable. While the same mistakes others do, don’t feel that bad. You are too hard on yourself.
  4. Making worst case scenarios in your head. Constantly imagining the worst case scenarios in your head, so you “are prepared”. Try imagining the best case scenarios too – trust me, this is a life changer!
  5. Waiting until the last minute to start or finish a project. You procrastinate all the time, even for the smallest tasks.
