Important dates

How do important dates, like birthdays, Christmas, New Year, Easter, or some other days affect you? Many bereaved parents claim that it's the hardest on those days. How do you feel and cope?

Oh yes, the important dates hit the hardest. For example, we still prepare a birthday cake for every year - of course, the favorite one. And no matter how hard that may sound or look and feel, it's a great way to keep memories of the child. I believe a lot of other bereaved parents do this.
